The bill in this cause was filed for specific performance of an agreement of sale and purchase of certain land in the city of East Orange. The agreement of sale provided that the property should be purchased by the defendant of the complainant for $2,650, $500 in cash to be paid upon the signing of the agreement; $2,050 by the assumption of a mortgage on the property and $100 in cash on delivery of deed.
