Argued October 2, 1936. The Pennsylvania Railroad Company and Reading Company have appealed from an order of the Public Service Commission sustaining two complaints of the Diamond Glass Company that certain intrastate freight rates which it has paid the appellants were unjust, unreasonable, oppressive and extortionate, and fixing the extent of the unreasonableness.

The Diamond Glass Company manufactures glass containers at its plant on the Reading railroad at Royersford, Pa., and purchases glass sand in carload quantities at Mapleton, Pa., on the Pennsylvania. Shipments are made in box cars…
