In this interlocutory appeal, David H. Hoffmann (“Hoffmann”) appeals an order denying his special appearance in a suit brought by Jeff Dandurand (“Dandu-rand”). See Tex. Crv. PRAC. & Rem.Code Ann. § 51.014(a)(7) (Vernon Supp.2005). Hoffmann presents four issues contending that his special appearance should have been granted: (1) the trial court does not have general jurisdiction over him; (2) the trial court does not have specific jurisdiction over him; (3) the exercise of personal jurisdiction over him offends traditional notions of fair play and substantial…
