Tenth street crosses the main track of the Louisville Nashville Railroad Company, at grade, within the corporate limits of the City of Clarksville. During the month of October, 1926, and for many years theretofore, the Citizens Railway Company, a Tennessee corporation, operated electric street cars on certain streets of the City of Clarksville, including Tenth street, under a franchise from the city.
