Following his conviction 1 on an indictment charging unlawful possession of marihuana, a class D controlled substance, with intent to distribute (G. L. c. 94C, § 32, inserted by St. 1971, c. 1071, § 1), Michael A. Huff man appealed. 2 Huffman assigned as error an evidentiary ruling by the trial judge, and the denial of his motion to suppress the evidence seized by the police.
