TODD, Justice.

Defendant was found guilty by a district court jury of aiding and abetting the commission of aggravated robbery, Minn.Stat. §§ 609.05 and 609.245 (1982), for driving the getaway car in the January 2, 1982, armed robbery of the Sunrise Bakery in Mahtomedi which was committed by his accomplice, Brian Hanson (aka Muldoon). The trial court sentenced defendant to an executed prison term of 54 months, the then-presumptive sentence pursuant to section 609.11 and the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines and Commentary, II.E.
