LANSING, Judge.

J.P. Stravens Planning Associates, Inc. (Stravens) appeals from the district court’s judgment in favor of the City of Wallace in Stravens’ action for payments alleged to be due under a personal services contract. We affirm.

FACTS

In January 1990, Stravens entered into a written contract with the City of Wallace to render services related to the design of a proposed downtown revitalization project, the preparation of an application for a grant to finance the project, and the management of the project construction.
