The Equitable Life Assurance Society, the appellant herein, issued a group insurance policy covering the lives of eligible employees of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation, the employer of Harvey Wheeler, a holder under the master policy of an individual certificate wherein his mother, Mattie B. Woolf ord this plaintiff, was named beneficiary.
