I. Introduction

This matter comes before the court on the motion of defendant Sunbeam Plastics Corporation (“Sunbeam”) to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction and improper venue or, in the alternative, to transfer pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a) (Docs. #7-1 and 7-2). Plaintiff Harold T. Pehr has sued Sunbeam for breach of contract stemming from a Patent License Agreement executed by the parties in August of 1993.
