MEMORANDUM
YOUNG, District Judge.
I. INTRODUCTION
The plaintiff Isabella McGovern (“McGovern”) brought a claim for medical malpractice against Dr. Mary Susan Shilling (“Dr. Shilling”) and Brigham & Women’s Hospital (“Brigham & Women’s”) (collectively, “the defendants”), alleging that Dr. Shilling breached the standard of care for obstetricians/gynecologists (“OB/GYN s”) during McGovern’s birth and caused her to suffer a stroke that resulted in permanent disability.
