William Kocks, plaintiff, a guest passenger, sought to recover for injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the city of Saginaw, Michigan, on April 20, 1946. Plaintiff claimed that the acci deiit was caused by tbe gross negligence of Robert Collins, defendant, the driver of the vehicle. Robert’s father, G-eorge Collins, owner of the vehicle was joined as defendant. The jury found the defendants guilty of gross negligence and awarded damages of $12,500. Judgment was entered thereon. Motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, and a new trial were denied, and this appeal taken..…
