Norton Guon was one of eight defendants charged, in two indictments, which were consolidated for trial, with various violations of the Mail Fraud Statute, 18 U.S.C.A. § 1341, and of the Securities Act, as amended, 15 U.S.C.A. § 77q(a) (1) and (2), in connection with the salé of securities by Universal Securities, Inc., of Bismarck, North Dakota. Guon and others were charged, in Count 55 of the indictment known as number 95, with violating the Securities Exchange Act, 15 U.S.C.A. § 78o(a) and (b); in Count 56, with a violation of 15 U.S.C.A. § 77e (a) (1); in Count 57,…
