OPINION

WILLIAM V. ALTENBERGER, Bankruptcy Judge.

This is an adversary proceeding seeking recovery of alleged preferential transfers and the matters under consideration are joint motions for summary judgment.

The relevant facts, as stipulated are as follows. The Debtor, Helen Gallagher Enterprises, Inc., sold gift items at retail and maintained retail outlets nationwide. Francis E. Giamette and Dolores A. Giamette were the President and the Secretary of the Debtor. From time to time, the Debtor borrowed money on both a short-term and long-term basis to finance its operating cash requirements. On…
