The plaintiff, Joan Mazurek, appeals from the judgment rendered in favor of the defendant, the town of East Haven (town), following the jury verdict in this negligence action. Specifically, the plaintiff claims that the trial court improperly (1) denied her request to present an engineer’s report pursuant to General Statutes § 52-174 (a) (2) and (2) denied her request for a continuance.
