Considine v. City of Waterbury
Supreme Court of Connecticut
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion
VERTEFEUILLE, J.
The defendant, the city of Waterbury, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Edward Considine. The defendant contends that the trial court improperly determined that governmental immunity as set forth in General Statutes § 52-557n1 did not shield it from liability and that the plaintiff had proffered sufficient evidence to establish that the defendant was negligent in maintaining its property. We disagree, and, accordingly, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
