Creditors’ motions in two recent, unrelated cases provide this court with the opportunity to consider an issue of statutory interpretation which arises on a regular basis, but upon which the Third Circuit Court of Appeals has not ruled: Whether a bankruptcy court retains exclusive jurisdiction to determine the dischargeability of certain types of unscheduled debts in chapter 7 cases after the bar date for filing dischargeability complaints has passed.
