JOHN, Judge.
Plaintiff contends the trial court erred by granting defendants’ motions for summary judgment and by denying his motion for partial summary judgment. We agree in part.
Pertinent facts and procedural information are as follows: On 26 January 1990, plaintiff, an electrical lineman for Harrison-Wright, Inc., was working on a Duke Power project to connect high-voltage overhead power lines to an underground cable.
