Appellant, the state of Ohio, appeals from the trial court’s order suppressing evidence of drug trafficking obtained during a traffic stop of the defendantappellee, Holly Carlson. We reverse.

On January 23, 1994, Trooper Terry Helton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol was patrolling Interstate 71 in Medina County. Carlson was traveling north on 1-71 in a Toyota pickup truck. Using a laser measuring device, Trooper Helton clocked Carlson’s pickup traveling seventy-five m.p.h. in a sixty-five m.p.h. zone.
