This is an appeal from the action of the defendant, the planning and zoning board of the city of Milford, hereinafter referred to as the board, in denying the application of the plaintiffs for a change of zone from R-10, a residence zone, to R-AMP, a residence zone allowing apartment houses. The plaintiffs’ property, which consists of one and one-third acres of land, is at the northwest corner of Chapel Street and Kings Highway.
