Ferguson, Judge:

This is a general court-martial case in which the accused was arraigned, tried and convicted of assault with intent to commit murder, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 934. He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, confinement at hard labor for twenty years, and reduction to Airman Basic. Except for the reduction in grade, the convening authority approved the sentence as imposed by the court-martial.
