MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
MATSCH, District Judge.
On February 5, 1986, a federal grand jury returned a thirty-five count indictment charging the defendants with violations of gambling, tax, and financial reporting laws, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1952 and 1955, 26 U.S.C. §§ 7201 and 7262, 31 U.S.C. §§ 5313 and 5322(b) and 31 C.F.R. § 103.22(a)(1). The investigation in this case included electronic surveillance, pursuant to a court order on an application submitted on November 16, 1984 by Justice Department attorney Robert E. Mydans.
