On July 21, 1906, a petition was presented to the county superintendent of public instruction of Ness county for the sale of a tract of school-land, described as follows: The northeast quarter of the southeast quarter, the north hálf of the south half of the southeast quarter, the north half of the south half of the southwest quarter, and the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 36, in township 18, range 26 west of the sixth principal meridian.
