This is a civil action brought by a district attorney under the Kansas Buyer Protection Act. (K. S. A. 1972 Supp. 50-601, el seq.). Under this Act certain business practices are declared unlawful and the district courts of the state are authorized to impose sanctions in actions brought against those who engage in such unlawful practices.
