Plaintiff, James Nason, and his wife, Claudia Nason, appeal a jury verdict which awarded them only a small portion of the damages they sought as a result of injuries plaintiff sustained in a car accident. The defendants admitted negligence in causing the .accident but disputed the amount of damages claimed by plaintiff. On appeal, plaintiff contends that the trial court erred by allowing defendants to present expert medical testimony regarding unnecessary surgeries and thereby shift the blame for plaintiffs damages from defendants to plaintiffs treating physician.
