WIEAND, Judge:

The issue in this appeal is whether an insurance company which has issued a policy of automobile insurance in accordance with the laws of the state in which the vehicle is registered must pay medical benefits to passengers of the vehicle who have been injured as a result of an accident in Pennsylvania even though the policy does not provide medical benefits. The trial court held that the insurance company was not liable for benefits for which coverage had not been provided and, therefore, sustained preliminary objections in the nature of a demurrer to a complaint making a claim…
