MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
EARL E. O’CONNOR, Senior District Judge.
This matter is before the court on defendant’s motion for judgment of acquittal or, in the alternative, for a new trial (Doc. # 69). At trial, the court reserved ruling on defendant’s motion for judgment of acquittal at the close of all the evidence until after the jury’s verdict. On April 29, 1998, a jury found defendant not guilty on count 1 of the indictment and guilty on counts 2 through 6.
