This divorce action was commenced in September, 1973, by service of a summons and an unverified complaint on the defendant and which complaint alleged generally the marriage of the parties, the birth of a child to the marriage, and acts of extreme cruelty committed by the defendant. Plaintiff prayed for relief in the usual form for a decree of divorce, custody, care and control of the minor child subject to rights of visitation, equitable division of the property and attorney’s fees.
