This is a legal malpractice action. Plaintiff, National Mortgage Company, appeals from the order of the trial court granting summary judgment to the defendants, W. Clark Washington and Charles A. Beck-ham, Jr.

Plaintiff’s complaint, filed September 10, 1985, alleges that the plaintiff is a mortgage banker engaged in the general real estate loan business, and in the course of its business held a first deed of trust on real estate owned by Carl F.
