Plaintiff Theodore Chabraja (Chabraja) brought a class action suit on behalf of persons in Illinois against defendant, Avis Rent A Car System, Inc. (Avis), asserting common-law fraud and violations of the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (Ill. Rev.
