State v. Dube
Supreme Judicial Court of Maine
1Opinion of the Court
WATHEN, Chief Justice.
Michael Dube appeals from his conviction of endangering the welfare of a child, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 554(1)(C) (Supp.1993), entered in the District Court (Springvale, Jaimlle, J.) following Dube’s conditional guilty plea. The defendant challenges the District Court’s'denial of his motion to suppress as well as the partial affirmance of that denial by the Superior Court (York County, Cole, J.). Dube alleges that both courts erred because all of the evidence in question was obtained as a result of an illegal search. We vacate the judgment of conviction.
