I. INTRODUCTION

Justice E. Ainooson (“Ainooson”) was convicted of second-degree murder, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a firearm without a federal identification card in October 2007 after a jury trial in the Massachusetts Superior Court (the “Superior Court”), sitting in and for the County of Plymouth.
