December 25, 1884, the insolvent firm of Walker, Judd & Yeazie, citizens of Minnesota, executed to plaintiff, also a citizen of this state, an assignment under Laws 1881, c. 148, known as the “Insolvent Law,” of all their copartnership property, consisting of real and personal property in this state, and of real property in the state of Wisconsin.
