Plaintiffs, John R. Whayne, Bruce Mayfield, Ed Orman, W. C. ‘Keene, and George Guthrie, brought two actions for injunction in the district court of Tulsa county. The first action was brought against defendant, Jáck Hawkins, and sought to enjoin him from disposing of any lots in the Jack Hawkins addition to any persons of African descent.
