Reversing.

Indicted for murder, the appellant, Minnie Cox, was convicted of the offense of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to serve twelve years in the penitentiary. She appeals.

Born in a remote section of Rockcastle county and early left an orphan, appellant has known naught else than poverty all her life. Spending her infancy and girlhood now with one charitably inclined relative and now with another, she grew to womanhood and in 1923 married. Her husband was, if anything, poorer than she.
