formation were filed against appellant charging that on August 1, 1911, in Dallas County, Texas, appellant, “wbn was then and there a resident of said county of Dallas and State of Texas, did then and there unlawfully practice and attempt to practice veterinary medicine, surgery and dentistry, by then and there treating, operating on and prescribing and attempting to treat, operate on and prescribe for a physical ailment and physical injury 'to and deformity of a domestic animal, to wit, a horse, for a money compensation, which he did…
