On mixed pleas, appellant was convicted in May 1987 by a general court-martial composed of officer members of forcible anal sodomy, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, and violation of a lawful general regulation by possessing a switchblade knife, violations of Articles 92, 125 and 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892, 925 and 928 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ].
