Appellant, Harold Albert Norton, Jr. (“Norton”), was convicted in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County of attempted first degree murder, witness intimidation, assault, three counts of armed robbery, and four counts of use of a handgun. On appeal before this Court, we reversed Norton’s convictions and remanded for a new trial, holding that Norton had been denied his Sixth Amendment right of confrontation when a DNA analyst was permitted to testify regarding the work of another DNA analyst.
