Gwenevere L. Jones appeals from a summary judgment in favor of Dr. Yvonne Kennedy, president of Bishop State Community College ("BSCC"). Jones, who was employed by BSCC as a cashier at the college bookstore, challenges the termination of her employment by Dr. Kennedy. After her employment was terminated, Jones sued Dr. Kennedy, in her official capacity as president of BSCC. She sought a judgment declaring her rights under the Fair Dismissal Act, § 36-26-100 et seq., Ala.
