The defendants were jointly charged in the county court of Coal county with the crime of having unlawful possession of nonintoxicating beverages without the payment of a license, for the purpose of bartering, selling and giving away the same. They were convicted, and their punishment assessed at a fine of $50 and 30 days in the county jail, and they have appealed.
