In March 1997, a general court-martial composed of officer members convicted appellant, Private First Class (PFC) Paul Grier, contrary to his pleas, of one specification each of rape, consensual sodomy as the lesser-included offense of forcible sodomy, and adultery, in violation of Articles 120,125, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 920, 925, and 934, respectively.
