This appeal comes to us from a judgment of the superior court which, after review, modified and affirmed findings of fact and conclusions of law made by the referee. Based on the findings, the -trial judge ordered the defendants to pay to the plaintiff the -sum of $20,000.00, -and the court costs.

The referee held hearings over a period of several days. His findings of fact -are in great detail. Upon exceptions filed thereto, the trial judge carefully reviewed them and the evidence upon which they were based.
