Mark Schadt, M.D. appeals from October 26, 2011 judgment entered on the jury verdict in favor of Carol Renna following denial of post-trial motions in this medical malpractice action. He alleges that the trial court erred under the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Act (“MCARE”), 40 P.S. § 1303.512, in permitting a pathologist and oncologist to render *661expert testimony regarding the standard of care applicable to a surgeon, and in failing to grant a new trial or remittitur for what he views as an excessive verdict. After careful review, we affirm.
