KASOLD, Judge:

Vietnam War veteran William P. McLendon appeals, through counsel, a January 15, 2004, decision of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board) that denied entitlement to service connection for a chronic low-back disability. Mr. McLendon argues that the Board erred in its evaluation of the evidence and that the Secretary failed to provide him with a VA medical examination pursuant to 38 U.S.C. § 5103A.
