This is an action in which 46 named plaintiffs (45 individuals and one corporation) have sued General Motors Corporation for relief from alleged defective Corvair automobiles for the model years 1961 through 1969. The named plaintiffs seek to maintain their suit as a class action on behalf of a class of all Ohio residents who now own or ever owned any Corvair for any of the nine *37model years first mentioned, whose vehicles are no longer covered by the factory warranty.
