Defendant, a physician, appeals from a judgment upon a verdict in favor of plaintiffs in the sum of $7500 in an action against him for malpractice.
On May 26, 1934, plaintiff, Angelina Sales, a 26 year old woman, was in her seventh month of pregnancy; during that day a nail in her shoe pierced the sole of her foot so that it pained her when she walked. Plaintiff removed her shoe and stocking, found blood where the nail had entered the flesh, and thereupon bathed the foot in a warm water and Lysol solution.
