Plaintiff brought this action to recover the loss and damage alleged to have been sustained by it upon two indemnity bonds executed by N. B. Lesher, Inc., as principal, and by itself as surety. Prior to the execution of these bonds, N. B. Lesher, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the contractor, had secured two contracts, one for the construction of a school gymnasium building for School District No. 4 at Prairie City and one for the construction of a school building for School District No. 47 at Seneca.
