This action for breach of contract, which is based on defendant’s denial of plaintiffs grant application for further program funding, is before the court on the parties’ cross-motions for summary judgment. The single issue presented by the motions and oral arguments of the parties is whether defendant, by its refusal to renew plaintiffs grant, breached any obligation that it may have owed to plaintiff. Since we find that defendant was under no obligation to renew plaintiffs grant, plaintiffs claim for breach of contract must be dismissed. Accordingly, we grant defendant’s motion for summary…
