OPINION

JACOBSON, Judge.

This appeal from a directed verdict in defendants’ favor raises the issues of whether plaintiffs, in an auction setting, proved a prima facie case of consumer fraud, negligent misrepresentation or common law fraud.

Plaintiffs/appellants, Frank and Anna Nataros, brought this civil action against defendants/appellees, Fine Arts Gallery of Scottsdale, Inc., its president and chief auctioneer, Stanton M. Bier, its salesman, Allen Goald, and their respective wives for consumer fraud, negligent misrepresentation and common law fraud arising out of the purchase by the Nataroses…
