Glenn Solsrud appeals a $78,131.88 judgment in favor of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company awarded pursuant to sec. 804.12, Stats., to compensate Goodyear for legal costs incurred in successfully litigating and proving certain issues that had been the subject of requests for admissions served upon Solsrud. Solsrud contends that the trial court erred by imposing costs as a result of his wrongful denial of demands to admit submitted as part of the discovery process.
