PETERS, J.

While working as a secretary on July 22, 1966, petitioner sustained injuries to her back. She received temporary disability through February 12, 1967, and on April 22, 1968, she received an award of 12k4 percent permanent disability. Neither party sought reconsideration.

On July 1, 1968, she petitioned to reopen the matter on the grounds that her condition had worsened and that she was in need of further treatment. She claimed that medication she required to alleviate the continuing pain caused by her injury had resulted in her becoming addicted to such medication. She had…
